Whether you have decided to put on an itsy-bitsy bikini or the safer one-piece, there are the floppy arms, flabby legs and tummy that show up. Although the aftermath of fast food, late night snacks and all-you-can-eat-buffets can only be dieted away, here are some last-minute tips by nutritionists and dermatologists to look good in that swimsuit.

Avoid flatulent foods

Keep gas-causing foods out of sight at least three to five days before your beach trip, though a majority of them, like beans and Brussels sprouts, are actually healthy ones. Not only is flatulence unpleasant, the gas also adds a few inches to your waistline. High-salt and high-calorie food may cause the same problem, leading to edema and making you look like a floating life-buoy.

Vegetables like celery and tomatoes, on the other hand, help to get rid of the extra water in your body.
