Christina Ricci has apologised for wearing fur after fans reactly badly when she made Peta's top five worst dressed celebrities of 2006 list last month.Christina received angry letters from fans and a long-standing internet fansite closed down in protest after Christina wore reindeer fur during a covershoot for W magazine and so made Peta's list.
Christina now insists she'll be fur-free from now on: "After being named on the Peta worst dressed list for wearing fur on the cover of W magazine, I have been deluged with angry and disappointed fans."
"I never meant to hurt nor anger anyone with my insensitivity. For what it is worth I have received the message loud and clear and will not be wearing fur in the future. I apologise for my offensive actions."
Peta have reportedly sent her a basket full of "cruelty-free goodies to thank her for her compassionate decision".
