Vice-President to visit France next week
Vice-President Wang Qishan will attend the second Paris Peace Forum to be held in France from Monday to Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang has announced. The visit, which comes shortly after French President Emmanuel Macron concluded a state visit to China, shows the high quality and high level of the current China-France relationship, Geng said at a regular news conference in Beijing on Friday. China stands ready to work with France and continue to strengthen strategic communication, deepen pragmatic cooperation and implement the consensus reached by leaders of the two countries in order to push forward the strategic partnership to a new stage, he said.
