By Sun Xiaochen | China Daily | Updated: 2019-11-07 07:33

February's X Games China in Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, will provide Beijing's co-host for the 2022 Winter Olympics the opportunity to challenge some of the world's top winter sports daredevils.

Genting Resort Secret Garden, the Olympic venue in the city's Chongli district, will welcome world-class skiers and snowboarders at X Games Chongli, the annual showcase's first China leg, from Feb 21-23.

The US-based Winter X Games is bringing three freestyle events - Big Air, slopestyle and superpipe (known as halfpipe at the Olympics) - for both men and women to its China stop, with hopes of attracting new fans ahead of the 2022 Olympics.
