Takeshi lands role in sportswear firm Li Ning

Sportswear brand Li Ning Co Ltd appointed Uniqlo executive Kosaka Takeshi (pictured) as joint CEO. Takeshi will take charge of supply chain, product and retail management. Prior, Takeshi, a Japanese-Chinese, was a top official of the Chinese and South Korean operations of clothing retailer Uniqlo. The appointment took effect on Sept 2 and Li Ning's shares rose by 4.75 percent the same day.
