Kazak president to pay state visit
At the invitation of President Xi Jinping, Kazak President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to China from Sept 10 to 12, the Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday. This is the first time that Tokayev will pay a state visit to China since taking office. The two countries' heads of state will sign and issue documents that sum up bilateral ties and plan the development of those ties, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said at a news conference on Thursday.
