Moviegoers in China will soon be able to sip martinis and rub shoulders with tuxedoed spies at an immersive cinema screening of the James Bond film Casino Royale, thanks to a new entertainment deal.
United Kingdom events company Secret Cinema announced on Tuesday that its immersive theatrical productions will go to China for the first time thanks to a new partnership with Shanghai Media Group Live.
Secret Cinema combines movie and television screenings to recreate immersive experiences with interactive performances, live bands and custom-built sets. Audience members themselves dress as characters from the productions and can join in on reenactments of iconic scenes.
