Germany's Rehm anxious to put Paralympians in brighter spotlight

TOKYO - Triple Paralympic champion Markus Rehm, known as the "Blade Jumper", regularly outperforms able-bodied athletes in the long jump but dreams of beating them on the same stage.

The charismatic German's world-record leap of 8.48m last year would have comfortably won him gold at the past three Olympics, and he said he measures himself against the top athletes - Olympic or Paralympic.
