Astros ratchet up rotation by adding Greinke, Sanchez

Zack Greinke held the New York Yankees to two runs on two hits over five innings on Wednesday - and that was the good news for the Bronx Bombers when it comes to the veteran pitcher.
Just minutes before the MLB's trade deadline, the Houston Astros acquired Greinke from the Arizona Diamondbacks, vaulting the Astros over the Yankees as the new favorites to win the American League pennant.
What's more, the New York Post's Joel Sherman reported the Yankees were in pursuit of Toronto pitcher Aaron Sanchez - but the Astros got him, too.
