United States sports car maker Saleen held a grand debut for its models at the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing on Saturday, kicking off its march into the world's largest market.

Joined by Hollywood actor Jason Statham and popular Chinese-Canadian actor and singer Kris Wu, Saleen unveiled its flagship supercar the S7 Le Mans Edition, the more affordable sports car S1, a sports SUV and a small electric car.

The event, named "Saleen Night", was one of the largest commercial activities to ever take place at the iconic Bird's Nest stadium. Saleen, which has a history of 36 years, said choosing the site to launch the Saleen brand and premiere its vehicles is an indication of its confidence and determination toward its development in China.
