GWANGJU, South Korea - Yang Jian emerged victorious in an enthralling all-Chinese duel with Yang Hao to win the men's 10m platform title at the FINA World Championships here on Saturday.
World Cup champion Yang Jian produced a good balance of consistency and difficulty in all six of his dives, peaking with a final-high score of 114.80 points and earning 17 perfect marks, to win with a total of 598.65.
Yang Hao finished second on 585.75 points, with Russia's Aleksandr Bondar a distant third (541.05).
