Leftovers are the cream of the crop as they chose their destiny

As a venture capitalist, I spend a lot of time in China working with ambitious young women, who want a chance to succeed as entrepreneurs and business professionals. Because of my unique position as a mentor and educator, I can see firsthand their struggles and challenges.
One of the most common complaints I hear is that their parents are pressuring them to find a husband and start a family. At the same time, they have a strong desire to succeed in their career. But the two goals are often at odds with one another.
I had one young woman tell me that she dreads going home to her village because as soon as she sets foot in the door, her parents begin badgering her about why she's not married yet. She's only 26.
