Top four set for Shanghai

China Daily | Updated: 2019-07-06 07:05

Reigning champion Xander Schauffele will be challenged by the world's top four ranked players - Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose - at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions tournament from Oct 31 to Nov 3 at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai.

Tickets to the 15th edition of Asia's biggest tournament are now on sale, with organizers anticipating one of the strongest fields ever as the world's best golfers square off for an increased prize pool of $10.25 million.

Schauffele has gone from strength to strength since last year's victory, winning the Sentry Tournament of Champions on the PGA Tour, tying for second at the Masters and finishing third at last month's US Open.
