Groenen's extra-time strike propels Netherlands to Cup final against US

LYON - Jackie Groenen had not even managed a shot on target before coming up with the goal that sent the Netherlands through to its first women's World Cup final on Wednesday.

Groenen's long-range strike nine minutes into extra time that lifted her team a 1-0 victory over Sweden in the semifinal in Lyon was just the midfielder's third goal in 53 international appearances.
