No trip too trying for Messi fanatic

It took Hu Qingwei nearly 30 hours to fly from Shanghai to Brazil, but the arduous journey and jet lag were more than worthwhile as he watched his idol Lionel Messi from the stands at the ongoing Copa America.

Even a 2-0 loss for Messi's Argentina in Tuesday's semifinal against the host at Belo Horizonte couldn't dampen Hu's enthusiasm.

"Messi was still a threat in the match, but soccer is a team sport," Hu said.
