Chief executive vows greater progress on economy, livelihood

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor vowed to get the city off to a new start by making greater efforts to develop its economy and improve people's livelihoods.

Lam made the remark while delivering a keynote speech on Monday at a reception to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR.
