Chen to drive Google local sales, operations
Google appointed Stanley Chen (pictured) as president of sales and operations in China. Chen will be based in Shanghai. He took over from Scott Beaumont, who will lead Asia-Pacific businesses. Chen joined Google in 2011, and led part of regional sales as general manager in Taiwan province. Chen has over 22 years of experience in IT-industry sales. Before joining Google, Chen served Apple, Ericsson and Intel.
