Li hamstrung by late lapses

Li Haotong is becoming a fixture at golf's biggest tournaments. His next challenge is to start contending.

In 23 starts in the four majors, the Players Championship and the four World Golf Championships events, Li has made 18 cuts but managed only three top-10s.

His most memorable result was a third-place finish at the 2017 British Open, followed by a tie for seventh at the 2016 WGC-HSBC Championships and a tie for ninth at this year's Dell Technologies Match Play.
