Finally, a Frenchman beat the odds.
Until Sunday, the PGA Tour Series-China featured winners from nine different countries since its debut in 2014 - but none from Europe.
England had come agonizingly close, with 2018 order of merit champion Callum Tarren finishing runner-up on six occasions. Last month, Tarren's compatriot Steve Lewton lost in a playoff in Nantong.
