Journalists from 18 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative had their understanding of China enhanced as a result of their training in the China Global Media Fellowship program which concluded on Friday.

This year's 19-day program, the second since its inception last year, was designed to help these foreign media workers better understand China's economic, political, cultural and social progress and nurture mutual exchanges.
