Electricity likely causes deaths of two girls

An electrical short circuit from landscape lamps is believed to have caused the deaths of two girls in a Hangzhou housing estate on Sunday. Police and maintenance workers were sent to the scene and helped send the victims to the hospital after receiving a report from the Yuhang neighborhood committee at 1:50 pm that two girls aged 8 and 10 fell inside a fountain while playing in it at a housing estate. The two girls died in hospital at about 4 pm, despite receiving treatment. After conducting an examination, doctors said the two girls were found to have been electrocuted. The relevant departments have launched further investigation on the case.
