Joint think tanks offer diverse views
Editor's note: In a world facing increasing challenges on a number of fronts, such as isolationism and protectionism, different nations and cultures now have a stronger need and desire to get to know each other. In this series, China and the World: Learning and Understanding, we look at efforts being made globally to broaden mutual communication and understanding. This is the fifth in the series.
Sanjiangyuan, an area on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, contains the headwaters of three major Asian rivers - the Yellow, the Yangtze and the Mekong (known in China as the Lancang) - and is home to rare animals such as snow leopards and Tibetan antelopes.
