Wang hammers down yet another gold in Nanjing

Chinese athletes collected three gold medals and notched two of the three world-leading marks achieved at the Nanjing IAAF World Challenge on Tuesday.

Hammer thrower Wang Zheng, silver medalist at the 2017 world championships in London, claimed her third title of the month with a fourth-round heave of 75.27 meters, beating DeAnna Price of the United States (74.21m) and reigning world and Olympic champion Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland (73.64m).

The 31-year-old Wang also won at the Asian Championships in Doha (75.66m) and at the Golden Grand Prix in Osaka, Japan (75.27m) last weekend to maintain an unbeaten streak at international competitions this year.
