Senior Party official to visit Japan

Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will visit Japan from Thursday to Saturday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said on Monday. Yang, who is also director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will hold the sixth high-level political dialogue between China and Japan with Shotaro Yachi, head of Japan's National Security Council. Both sides will exchange views about China-Japan relations and other issues of common concern, Geng said.
