Zhu bids adieu to Turkey

Chinese star Zhu Ting confirmed on Tuesday she has parted ways with VakifBank, saying she was grateful for playing the past three years for the Turkish club.

"I appreciate everything I've learned and experienced with the VakifBank team. They took very good care of me and helped me improve both as a volleyball player and a person," said Zhu, who is captain of China's women's national team.

The Istanbul-based club released a poster on its official website with a photo of Zhu posing on court with Chinese characters for "Thanks, Ting Zhu."
