Startups, chains bet on meat-free hamburgers

If you enjoy a tasty, juicy hamburger, you're not alone. People in the United States love them so much that they eat 50 billion a year.
While die-hard meat-lovers would argue that there's nothing quite like a mouth-watering hunk of meat, an increasing number of US-based companies are producing plant-based meat-free products. Some consumers say are so good they're indistinguishable from the real thing.
The new "meat" mimics the taste, smell and texture of real meat, with some even "bleeding" like beef (thanks to beet juice).
