On my third visit to the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park, I invited two locals to tell about living their "Belarusian dream" in the nation's largest foreign investment project.

As a pearl of the Belt and Road Initiative, the park is playing a significant role in pushing Sino-Belarusian bilateral commercial ties and boosting local economic growth, but I didn't expect it to change the lives of local people so much until I had a chance to hear their stories.

Anna Alyushina wakes up every day at time when most residents of Minsk are still sleeping and rides a shuttle bus to the industrial park, where she has worked as a translator since graduating from university in 2017.
