Family reasons push Lan Ye, VP, to leave JD

E-commerce giant JD announced Lan Ye (pictured), its chief public affairs officer and executive vice-president, will leave the company on May 31 due to family reasons. No replacement has been named. Lan's resignation follows JD's statement earlier in February that it will cut 10 percent of staff at senior management level. Since joining JD in 2012, Lan has served as chief marketing officer and has overseen marketing, sales and many other departments.
