Combining food with traditional culture, The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street opened its buffet recently to offer delicacies with a Beijing flavor.
The offering lasts from April 9 to May 9. It provides a selection of Beijing delicacies, such as braised pork intestine, braised meatball, stir-fried tofu with leek, braised lamb chops, roast sweet potato, noodles with soybean paste and noodles with gravy.
Speaking of Beijing cuisine, most people only know a few dishes like roast duck, but there is more beyond those, said Liu He, executive chef of the hotel. "Beijing's delicacies range from main dishes to snacks, and most of them are made by mothers at home, so their taste can bring us irreplaceable memories," he said.
