Ex Supreme Court chief justice dies
Xiao Yang, former chief justice of the Supreme People's Court, died of sickness in the early morning of Friday at the age of 81, according to Xinhua News Agency. Xiao, a native of South China's Guangdong province, was named Minister of Justice in 1993 and served as the president of the top court from 1998 to 2008.
