Orpik, MacKinnon overtime heroes for Caps, Avalanche

Brooks Orpik scored 1:48 into overtime to lift the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals to a 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes and a 2-0 lead in their NHL Eastern Conference quarterfinal in Washington on Saturday.
Orpik took a pass from behind the net by Evgeny Kuznetsov and whipped a wrist shot past Petr Mrazek from the left faceoff circle.
It was Orpik's fourth goal in 151 playoff games; three have been game-winners, including two in OT.
