Smuggled waste sent back to ROK
China has sent a shipment of smuggled solid waste back to the Republic of Korea, where it originated, according to the General Administration of Customs. The 243 metric tons of waste, which used fake paperwork, was seized in August by Shantou Customs in Guangdong province, officers said.
