Hospitals exposed for insurance fraud

China's National Healthcare Security Administration has exposed eight hospitals involved in medical insurance fraud, as part of a nationwide campaign to crack down on the malpractice. The hospitals were found to have paid kickbacks to doctors to "buy" patients. They also overtreated or overchecked patients, booked fake expenditures or bought fake invoices to defraud medical insurance funds, the administration said.
