Artists draw inspiration from international bonds

An established art community in Paris will work to further strengthen cultural links among countries, particularly between China and France, a leading French art figure said in Beijing on Friday.

"The key point for those artists in the community is to find the common language they have with others, and pursue the same values together," said Benedicte Alliot, director of Cite internationale des arts, an artists' center established in Paris in 1965.

The potential is shown by art communities in France and China that have boosted communication and creativity, Alliot said.
