Sagitar stretching out with longer model

FAW-Volkswagen launched its all-new Sagitar Long-Wheelbase on Mar 18, in Sanya, South China's Hainan province. The sedan offers eight variants with two powertrain options at prices ranging from 131,800 yuan to 196,800 yuan ($19,620-$29,300). The model sees upgrades in design, performance, comfort and safety to target customers born in the 1980s and 1990s, who are believed to have higher requirements for quality of life. The sedan is 4,753 millimeters in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,462 mm in height, with a wheelbase stretching 2,731 mm. This is to optimize interior space and offer a more comfortable driver and passenger experience. The model has four kinds of driving modes: normal, economic, sporty and individualized, which can be tailored by the driver. Coupled with an advanced automatic driving system, including an active lane keeping assist system, emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, the latest-generation Sagitar not only reinforces its driving safety, but also improves its artificial intelligence.
Avalon sedan aims to set new standards

On Friday, FAW Toyota launched the all-new Avalon in Tianjin. The sedan features low fuel consumption, pleasant driving experience, improved safety and cutting-edge technologies. It aims to set a new standard for the values of middle and high-end cars. The new model has two kinds of engine - a 2.5-liter petrol vehicle and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with a 2.5-liter petrol engine. The petrol vehicle consumes 6.2 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers, and the hybrid consumes 4.3 liters. The sedan is 4,975 millimeters in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. The new Avalon is available in six variants, with suggested prices ranging from 208,800 yuan to 289,800 yuan ($31,000 to $43,000).
