China Daily | Updated: 2019-03-19 07:46

MILAN - Cristiano Ronaldo was rested and Juventus crashed to its first Serie A loss of the season at Genoa on Sunday following its Champions League heroics, as Inter won a fiery Milan derby 3-2 to move into third place.

Ronaldo fired Juventus into the European quarterfinals, where it will face Ajax, with a hat-trick in a comeback victory against Atletico Madrid last Tuesday.

Without him the Turin team slumped to a 2-0 loss but still remains comfortably on track for an eighth consecutive league title.
