An acrobatic troupe from the Inner Mongolia autonomous region has won the Golden Bear Award - the top prize at the International Circus Art Festival in Izhevsk, Russia. Their award-winning performance, Six Persons Kicking Bowls, was defined by a strong sense of ethnic identity and regional culture. Performers rode bicycles as six girls wearing bright costumes completed a series of breathtaking moves, with one managing to catch 28 bowls without pause. The event featured 21 troupes from 15 countries.
