Chinese speed skaters in the medals

China won two silver and one bronze medal at the Short-Track Speed Skating World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Saturday.

Fan Kexin finished second in the women's 500m in 43.427 seconds behind winner Lara van Ruijven of the Netherlands (43.267). Another Dutchwoman, Suzanne Schulting, was third (43.518).

In the men's 500m, China's Olympic champion Wu Dajing took silver in 42.725 seconds, with compatriot Ren Ziwei claiming bronze in 42.888. South Korea's Hwang Dae-heon won gold in 42.490.
