Borrowed Lamborghini goes up in flames

A Lamborghini was destroyed after it hit a guardrail and caught fire on the Dongyong expressway in Jinhua on Feb 9. The accident happened around 7 pm when the driver, surnamed Li, braked suddenly to avoid a vehicle in front of him. The Lamborghini, valued at more than 6 million yuan ($887,160), caught fire 10 minutes after it hit the guardrail. Li borrowed the car from a friend and was driving it back to Shanghai from Fujian province at a speed of about 100 kilometers an hour when the accident happened. Li was unhurt in the accident. Traffic police are investigating the cause of the accident.
