Woman attempts to bypass airport security

A female passenger surnamed Li, who refused to undergo airport security checks and bit the hand of a security staff, was placed in detention for five days as punishment in Wuhan on Feb 7. Li got angry when security staff stopped her after arriving at the city's airport security checkpoint at 11:48 am. Li had wanted to walk directly to the boarding gates by bypassing security checks. Li then bit the hand of a security staff who wanted to put her luggage on the X-ray machine, causing the security staff's hand to be wounded. Li was brought to a nearby police station for questioning after police arrived at the scene.
