Spring Rush has changed dramatically

China Daily | Updated: 2019-02-01 07:37

AS SPRING FESTIVAL, or Chinese Lunar New Year, approaches, people who work far away from home are making their way back to their hometowns. Beijing News comments:

As always, the huge number of people going home mean crowded trains, buses, as well as difficulties in getting a ticket. That's why, in recent years, there have always been large groups of migrant workers going home on motorcycles.

That's also why many journalists and photographers have been waiting at gas stations recently, waiting for a chance to report on the motorcycle cavalcades and get photos of them. Some photographers are even hoping to use drones to try and get dramatic shots.
