Ritz-Carlton Beijing lures gourmands with cuisine panache
Renowned for its business-focused services, the Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street is also making concerted efforts to sharpen its competitiveness on the gastronomic front by offering a gourmet lunch, afternoon tea and master classes.
The hotel's Italian restaurant Cepe is providing an exclusive menu every month, created by a bevy of Michelin-starred chefs. They are offering a so-called appreciation menu this month, which comprises a selection of the most popular specialties from every season.
A total of five Michelin-starred chefs made contributions to the menu. One of the dishes, by Fabio Nompleggio from Modena in Italy, celebrates traditional ingredients from his hometown, like balsamic vinegar, and matches it with goose liver, buttered toast and hazelnuts. The creation has been widely acclaimed by guests.
