Xi's special representative to visit four countries

Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative Yang Jiechi will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon from Jan 13 to 19, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang announced on Friday. Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will also attend the World Future Energy Summit held in the UAE, Lu said.
