Probe pyramid selling of health products

ON MONDAY, the team investigating the case of Quanjian Nature Medicine Technology Development Co, which is suspected of false advertising and pyramid selling, said it had detained 18 suspects, including the actual controller of the company's activities. China Daily writer Zhang Zhouxiang comments:

It was on Dec 25 that an article went viral online, blaming Quanjian for cheating its consumers into believing its sold health products that could replace medicines.

Now, 12 days after the article was first published, Quanjian senior executives have been detained and they might face criminal charges.
