Sinopec Oilfield names Liu as chairman

Sinopec Oilfield Service Corp, a subsidiary of China Petrochemical Corp, or Sinopec Group, named the group's deputy general manager Liu Zhongyun (pictured) as its new chairman. Liu also works concurrently as the executive board director and senior vice-president at another subsidiary China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. Prior, he served as head of several local branches of Sinopec, including as general manager of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield. Liu was named assistant general manager and division chief for human resources for Sinopec in 2014, and was promoted to deputy general manager of the group in 2017.
