Macao's merchandise exports up 1.8% in Nov

Merchandise exports in the Macao Special Administrative Region amounted to 1.02 billion patacas ($12.66 million) in November 2018, up by 1.8 percent year-on-year, the SAR's statistics bureau said. Information from the Statistics and Census Service indicated that the value of reexports increased by 6.8 percent to 899 million patacas, while that of beauty, cosmetics and skin care products surging notably by 526.1 percent. Total merchandise imports rose 6.7 percent year-on-year to 8.06 billion patacas. Merchandise trade deficit in November amounted to 7.04 billion patacas.
