French take on Chinese culture

Jone Vergnolle, is a French teacher in Beijing.

I've been living in one of Beijing's traditional alleyways for a year. Although I'm from France, I'm very interested in China's calendar culture.

The new ones are functional and guide us to do practical things in life, but what I really like are the older ones - the collectors' items - such as those from the time of the "cultural revolution" (1966-76).
