China-India media forum promotes deeper understanding, cooperation

Chinese and Indian journalists exchanged views in New Delhi on Friday, laying stress on more direct media exchanges between the two countries in a bid to foster better understanding of each other.

The journalists also placed emphasis on carrying direct reports rather than seeing each other through the eyes of the Western media.

Participating in the third China-India High Level Media Forum, journalists representing various media organizations from the two countries said both sides should make efforts to enhance understanding and cooperation between them to promote a closer development partnership.
