Audi A7 Sportback

FAW-Volkswagen launched the all-new Audi A7 Sportback in China on Wednesday, which is expected to set a benchmark in the premium coupe segment in the Chinese market. The A7 Sportback features many intelligent features found in the Audi A8L, including a touch response system and natural language understanding technology. The model has class-leading powertrain systems. The 3.0-liter TFSI engine has a maximum output of 250 kW. Coupled with the S tronic gearbox, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.3 seconds, the fastest in its segment. The model also has the best fuel economy in its segment, with 6.8 liters of gasoline consumed per 100 km. The Audi A7 Sportback is available in two variants, priced at 808,800 yuan ($119,237) and 879,800 yuan respectively.

Xpeng G3

Xpeng Motors launched its first model, G3, on Wednesday in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, where the Chinese electric car startup is headquartered. Billed as a smart car, the five-seat SUV features voice control and 23 sensors that offer advanced driving assist functions, including automatic parking. The G3 features a self-developed operating system, which Xpeng said will be upgraded over the air to offer new functions including facial recognition and fatigue alert. Manufactured at Haima's plant in Zhengzhou, Henan province, the model has a range of 365 km on one charge. It has a maximum output of 145 kW and a top torque of 300 Newton meters. The G3, available in three versions and five colors, is priced from 135,800 yuan to 165,800 yuan after subsidies.
