Drills planned in Indian Ocean: media
Iran's navy plans to stage large-scale military drills in the Indian Ocean in the coming months, Press TV reported on Saturday. The exercises are aimed to "boost Iran's naval performance in international waters and to display the country's military prowess", Deputy Navy Commander for Coordination, Hamzeh Ali Kaviani, was quoted as saying. The maneuver will be held this winter within Iran's southern territorial waters and high seas, he added.

New Hezbollah passageway found
Israeli forces said on Saturday they uncovered another Hezbollah tunnel dug from Lebanon, an announcement that came shortly after troops fired at suspected members of the militant group who approached the site of Israeli army engineering working to thwart tunnels. The find makes this at least the second cross-border tunnel discovered since Israel began an operation this week to detect and "neutralize" attack passageways dug by the Iranian-backed group into northern Israel.
